Hillu Liebelt (a German artist who works with fibre sculptures and needlework wall pieces), has got a wonderful exhibition at the Platform Gallery. It’s beautifully lit and the gallery have displayed it very well. Jewel colours sing out across the room amongst the calmer earth tones. Shadows play across the plinths, overlapping and with ranges of brown- grey to blue-grey. It’s worth a visit, if you’re in NW England.
Looking forward to going to Chorlton Folk Club again on Thursday. It was a cracker of a night, last week. Mark and Clive did a guest spot. They are soooooo good! Not sure if we’re playing anything this week, we’ve been a bit short on rehearsal time.
Listening to Sandy Bull, acoustic guitar via iPod at the mo. Very calming.
Bye for now x
